About
Lea Toran Jenner (German/Spanish) and Francis Perreault (Canadian) met each other at
the École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal in 2011. In search of new challenges,
they decided to work together in one Single Cyr Wheel to create an innovative circus discipline:
the Cyr Wheel Duo.
After training together for over 3 years, Duo Unity found their style in combining their strengths
with poetic sensibility while creating a romantic atmosphere by mixing grace with danger.
For their act, Lea & Francis have been rewarded with
a Bronze Medal at the prestigious Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain, France 2015,
a Silver Award at the Budapest Lyrical Circus Festival, Hungary 2020, and
a Gold Medal & Audience Award at the Festival International de Circo de Albacete, Spain 2019.
For their many accomplishments, they have been invited to perform at
the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo, Monaco 2025.
Duo Unity has worked internationally with different circus and variety shows as well as
special events and TV appearances. Their latest long term engagement has been with
the prestigious Moulin Rouge in Paris (2016 - 2018 & 2023 - 2025)
